It’s been a pretty mild winter in the UK. This definitely isn’t the case in Hinterland Studio’s survival sim The Long Dark.
After a geo-magnetic disaster, Mother Nature decides to take advantage of our technological demise by making things cold – very cold. Axes are swung as the aurora lights up the sky. I’d imagine the lumberjacks rise to the top of the food chain, with the sight of a checked shirt instilling fear into everyone’s hearts.
All jokes aside, I class this trailer as rather chilling.

The Long Dark is currently on Steam in Early Access and available on Xbox One’s preview programme. The story mode looks to be released sometime in Spring 2016.
