Looks like everyone and their mother is playing Apex Legends.
In 72 hours, over 10 million playing have jumped into Apex Legends breaching 1 million concurrent players.
In a blog post from Vince Zampella at Respawn Entertainment, Zampella thanks the community for such a huge milestone stating that they knew it would be a risky move to take the franchise in the free-to-play direction but they wanted anyone and everyone to be able to pay their game.
Zampella also says that there is much more to look forward to in the year to come.
Congrats to everyone over at Respawn.

Becca knew that she would be addicted to video games for the rest of her life when she saw the first pixelated zombie shambling across her TV screen while playing Resident Evil 3. She particularly enjoys being scared, laughing until she cries, or just plain crying while experiencing games. When she isn't playing games she loves spoiling her cat Usagi and eating any kind of sushi she can find.
