Pokemon GO officially out in UK

After over a week waiting for its official release in the UK, Pokemon GO finally releases on mobile devices today.

I’ve been able to play it for a few days getting the APK on Android, but there was no way for iPhone users to get Pokemon GO until now.

Android users can find it on the Google Play Store here.

iPhone/iPad users can find it from the iTunes App Store here.

To properly play Pokemon GO it’s highly recommended to use a mobile phone instead of a tablet. If you don’t have a data plan for your phone, like me, it’ll be very difficult to play Pokemon GO as intended. If you have a BT login, like me, you’ll have some luck using the wi-fi hotspots if you’re in a populated area; to find how many hotspots there are around you, you can find that information here.

For Jack, it all started with the PS1. After years spent playing against AI, video games moved online, so Jack did too. As the industry grew, he followed, treating himself to a diverse array of genres. Now enjoying well-written RPGs the most, he looks for stories he can engross himself in.
