Top 10 Games We Expect to See at E3 2017

Death Stranding

Also known as the Naked Norman Reedus Project, Hideo Kojima’s upcoming title that we still know very little about was first shown off last year. It looked epic, sure, but we’ve seen nothing but various cinematic teaser trailers. We still don’t really know what kind of game this is going to be. (A match-three puzzler, perhaps? Hopefully not…). We anticipate it’s still a good year or two away from release, but perhaps E3 2017 will be the year we get to see a bit of gameplay for Death Stranding.
The Evil Within 2

It’s been hinted at for a couple of years, and a job listing earlier in the year gave away that it’s likely in progress, so perhaps Bethesda will finally announce The Evil Within 2 is in production. It’s been almost three years since the first, so a sequel is well overdue. With Resident Evil 7 and Outlast 2 now out of the way, we could do with a new horror game to make us soil our pants.
Final Fantasy VII Remake

Remember that time when Square Enix announced that a FF7 remake was in the works? No, I barely do, either. It was two years ago now, since then, not much has been seen or heard about it – but that’s how Square Enix roll (see Kingdom Hearts 3). It’s apparently now supposed to be an episodic release, so perhaps we’ll finally get a release date for the first part. Or at least a look at some solid gameplay would be nice.
Kingdom Hearts 3

Here’s another game that was first announced many moons ago, and has all but disappeared since. A leaked bit of investor information from Square Enix told us that Kingdom Hearts 3 isn’t going to be coming in 2017, but it would be nice to have confirmation of a 2018 release window. I’d also settle for a nice gameplay trailer, reavealing some of the Disney worlds we can look forward to exploring with Sora.
Dead Island 2

Lots of people think Dead Island 2 is as dead as the island it’s set on, but it’s still well and truly in existence. It’s been a rocky production, but UK-based developer Sumo Digital took the helm of Dead Island 2 some time ago, and have, presumably, been hard at work on it since. We’ve not seen or heard anything about it in well over a year though, so perhaps E3 2017 would be a great time to show us what zombie-killing escapades we can expect.
Of course, these are only the tip of the iceberg, and we’ll expect to see many more new and exciting announcements. What are you most looking forward to hearing about at E3 2017? Let us know in the comments below!
