Fittingly just before For Honor’sSeason 3: Grudge and Glory the game is receiving a free weekend between August 10-13.
The For Honor free weekend will be available on all platforms – PS4, Xbox One and PC. For players who then want to purchase the game, For Honor will be 50% off across all versions – the console sales end August 20th and PC ends August 14th.  You can check in the image below for the exact time the free weekend should go live in your location, and on your platform.
Nothing is being locked off this weekend so players will have full access to all multiplayer modes, maps, and even the campaign. Playstation 4 and Uplay PC users can pre-load the game today at 9PM PDT if they wish in anticipation for this weekend.
August 15th then brings Season 3 dubbed “Grudge & Glory” which contains two new heroes, maps, gear, ranked play, and other updates. Season Pass owners receive those two heroes on August 15th, and then those heroes will be available for purchase with Steel for other players August 22nd. Grudge & Glory will not be when For Honor migrates to dedicated servers – that is touted as coming at a later date.
For Jack, it all started with the PS1. After years spent playing against AI, video games moved online, so Jack did too. As the industry grew, he followed, treating himself to a diverse array of genres. Now enjoying well-written RPGs the most, he looks for stories he can engross himself in. Unfortunately, they are hard to find in video games. Eventually his love/hate relationship with gaming drew him to write about the industry he is passionate about. When he's not gaming, you'll most likely find Jack watching films.
