Blizzard announced there would be a new animated short for Overwatch during Gamescom, but sneakily during their preview livestream they showed off another animated short and announced new map Junkertown.
As you can probably imagine the new map Junkertown will be in the Australian outback, and it will be a new escort map. To celebrate this announcement Blizzard debuted an animated short with your favourite Australians (outside of Hugh Jackman) Roadhog and Junkrat, and it’s actually pretty funny. Junkertown: The Plan sees the pair kicked out of Junkertown so develop a plan or several to get their revenge.
It takes Junkrat a few tries to get the plan just right for Roadhog. I always look forward to Overwatch animated shorts so I can’t wait to see the other one they have lined up at Gamescom this week.
For Jack, it all started with the PS1. After years spent playing against AI, video games moved online, so Jack did too.
