These are the US PS Plus Free Games for September 2017

ByJack Bampfield

Sony continues a recent tradition of at least one AAA game from this generation in the PS Plus’ monthly lineup; arriving September is inFamous: Second Son among others.

For those of you who missed out all the way back in March 2014, inFamous: Second Son will be free-to-play for PS Plus users. One of the PS4’s first exclusives was a favourite of mine which I even completed, and also played around in its great photo mode – my personal favourite shot below (I did hundreds). I could go into detail on its photo mode, but then we’d be here a while.

Also free to download in September are:

  • Strike Vector Ex, PS4
  • Monster Jam Battlegrounds, PS3
  • Hustle Kings, PS3
  • Hue, PS Vita (cross buy with PS4)
  • Sky Force Anniversary, PS Vita (cross buy with PS4 & PS3)

From 5th September to 7th November PSVR owners can play RIGS Mechanized Combat League for free. Dead by Daylight will also be free for PS Plus users from 15-18 September.

For Jack, it all started with the PS1. After years spent playing against AI, video games moved online, so Jack did too. As the industry grew, he followed, treating himself to a diverse array of genres. Now enjoying well-written RPGs the most, he looks for stories he can engross himself in. Unfortunately, they are hard to find in video games. Eventually his love/hate relationship with gaming drew him to write about the industry he is passionate about. When he's not gaming, you'll most likely find Jack watching films.
