Overwatch Reveals Summer Games Skins, We’re Half Impressed
With Overwatch Summer Games coming in only two days, players have been keeping their keyboard and controllers warm waiting for the event to launch.
With each new Overwatch event comes new cosmetic items for its characters, and Blizzard has decided to reveal a few Summer Games skins early. The four skins players have seen so far are: Waveracer D.VA, Cabana Ana, Gridironhardt Reinhardt, and last but… definitely least, Catcher Winston.
The general consensus, according to my thorough research and definitely not just asking my friends, is that most people love D.VA and Ana’s new skins, but find Reinhardt’s and Winston’s repugnant. After all, we’re gamers, none of us like sports anyway, right?
Overwatch’s Summer Games will also bring back player favourite Lucioball, the soccer arcade game, so players are hoping for a new legendary Lucio skin among the list. Fingers crossed.
Look out for Overwatch’s third annual Summer Games coming August 9th where we’ll all see these skins and hopefully a few more in action, along with dozens more voice lines, sprays, highlight intros, and emotes.
