Forever running out of space in your pockets in Animal Crossing: New Horizons? Here’s how to increase your inventory space.
When you start playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the amount of space you have in your pockets is rather limited. After all the tools you’ll need to go about your busywork, there aren’t many empty slots left for all the bugs, fish and resources you want to collect.
Thankfully, you can expand your inventory – and it’s very easy to do so. All you need is some Nook Miles.
An increased inventory is a purchasable upgrade that you can get from the Nook Stop – the ATM-type machine that you’ll find in Residential Services. Simply interact with the machine, select “Redeem Nook Miles”, then look for the “Pocket Organization Guide” in the list.
It’ll cost 5,000 Nook Miles to buy, which makes it one of the more expensive Nook Miles purchases, but it’s also one of the most worthwhile. I’d recommend buying it as soon as you have enough Nook Miles. It’ll soon pay off, as being able to hold more items in your inventory makes collecting things to sell or craft with becomes much easier.
A little later into the game, you’ll also get the option to expand your pockets further to help you hold even more stuff. Remember you can store unlimited items in your storage box accessible from your house.
