Evil Genius 2: Worlds Domination, the evil empire sim that originally saw the light of day on PC, is coming to consoles this November.
It casts you as a villainous mastermind who’s intent on constructing a doomsday device, to ultimately conquer the Forces of Justice. As you do. It launched on PC earlier this year and, in August, creators Rebellion announced it would muah-ha-ha onto PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Now, it has a confirmed November 30th release date.
We reviewed Evil Genius 2 back when it released, giving it an 8 out 10, concluding that “.. once you get the hang of being evil, you’ll discover that being bad sure is good fun”. Though we did raise an eyebrow at the way that, less than a month after its release, Rebellion were already selling DLC for it.
There’s a console trailer for whet your appetite for the upcoming release, which shows off the game’s malevolent antics which include, much to our joy, executing do-gooding spies. The PlayStation and Xbox release will include all the PC version’s DLC and will also be coming to Xbox Game Pass which means subscribers can it play for free on the day of release. Still not convinced? Brian Blessed voices one of the henchmen so you can have the shoutiest man alive keeping your minions in line.
If you do decide to pre-order Evil Genius, you’ll get three in-game bonus items, the Aurora Borealis, the Fountain of Youth and the Trojan Horse. Disappointingly, there’s no Prince Vultan costume for Brian Blessed’s henchman but you can’t have everything.
Evil Genius 2: World Domination releases this November 30th on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
