Latest Beatstar Update Adds 23 New Songs to Journey

Mobile music rhythm game Beatstar has just had a new update, adding more than 20 new songs to the game.

The June update for Beatstar is now live, making various changes to the game. Along with laying the groundwork for a new multiplayer mode, it improves gameplay and adds a decent selection of new songs.

The gameplay changes made to Beatstar in the latest update are as follows:

  • Issue of some hold notes not properly giving full points has been fixed
  • Overall responsiveness of the game has been improved
  • More lenient tap zone below notes once they’ve entered the ‘Perfect’ bar

Of course, the thing we’re most excited about are the new songs added to Beatstar. Reaching Journey level 14 and 15 will both unlock a new set of songs. They’re available to add to your wishlist right away. Some of these songs have already featured in the game as part of boxes available to buy with gems.
