Prime Gaming’s October PC games are nearly here, with seven full titles and a range of DLC.
All you have to do to nab these October Prime Gaming PC games is have an Amazon Prime account and check in during the period the games are available for which is from October 1st to October 31st. That may seem obvious between Prime Gaming, Xbox Games with Gold, Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus, it’s possible to have your eye on a freebie only to check in later and find out its gone.
So what’s on offer? Fallout 76, Bethesda’s online-only Fallout game leads the pack and while we’d still sooner have had Fallout 5, it’s a better game than its original bare-bones offering. This includes The Pitt, the game’s latest free update.
On top of that, there’s Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, the follow-up to Shadow of War which was one of last month’s freebies. It’s an excellent Lord of the Rings game, albeit one that still has to fit into existing Lord of the Rings lore. You can read our review here.
While those are the first two games we’d recommend firing up, there are seven games on offer. The line up is as follows:
- Fallout 76,
- Total War: Warhammer II,
- Middle-Earth: Shadow of War,
- Glass Masquerade: Origins,
- LOOM
- Hero’s Hour
- Horace
All these Prime Gaming games are available from October 1st, provided you have an Amazon Prime subscription. Some may redeem through Steam, while others may need to be downloaded from Amazon themselves.
And, don’t forget, this also means you’ve got just today and tomorrow to get your hands on September’s Prime Gaming games and in-game content.
