Here are the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for December

December is very nearly here – just where has the year gone? And of course, with every new month comes a new batch of games for PlayStation Plus members to download and play at no additional cost. The line-up is pretty good this December as well: a trio of games that includes one of the best co-op experiences currently available.

That co-op title is Hazelight Studios’ brilliant It Takes Two. In our review we said that “it’s a delight to play and its story is wonderful; sometimes moving, sometimes utterly hilarious.” When it hits PlayStation Plus on 3rd December it will be available on both PS4 and PS5, and you should definitely add it to your library if you don’t already own it. We have to point out that you can only play it in co-op, however; there’s no single-player mode here. But with it featuring highly on our best couch co-op games on PS5 list, it’s well worth your (and a friend’s) time.

Also on offer via PlayStation Plus from 3rd December is Aliens: Dark Descent, a real time strategy game that took us by surprise when it launched last year. “If you’re an Alien fan after some single-player thrills, this is well worth picking up”, we said in our review, “even if you don’t usually get on with real-time strategy games.” That will also be available on PS4 and PS5.

Finally, the last title rounding out the trio of games hitting PlayStation Plus in December is the PS5-only Pokemon-like Temtem. If you’re a fan of creature collecting, it’s well worth adding to your library — it’s one of our favourite games like Pokémon on PlayStation.

As already stated, these games land on 3rd December, which means you’ve still got some time to add November’s PlayStation Plus games to your library if you haven’t already. They are Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged, Ghostwire: Tokyo and Death Note Killer Within.
