Brilliant beat-em-up Streets of Rage 4 is just £7 on the PlayStation Store
Want to let off some steam? How does punching your way through a city full of criminals sound? Then, provided you’ve got a PlayStation, you can do just that. The superb Streets of Rage 4 is just £6.99/$8.74, down from £19.99/$24.99.
Even if you missed out on the previous Mega Drive-based entries in the series, Streets of Rage 4 is a must-play. In our review, we called it “..a tour de force of sumptuous art, mesmerising music, and trance-inducing action,” awarding it an impressive 9/10.
It’s one of the most satisfying brawlers we’ve played. It throws in enough strategy and enemy variety to keep you hooked and the hand drawn enemy graphics are downright gorgeous. As for the soundtrack? It’s absolutely sublime and it regularly finds its way into our work playlist.

The game supports online and offline multiplayer to boot, with up to 4 players locally. On top of that, the Mr X Nightmare expansion is down to £2.92. It doesn’t add anything to the story, but it gives you a survival mode, three new playable characters and more.
It’s a crime you can’t find Streets of Rage 4 machines in our local arcades, instead of ticket machines and coin pushers. But, provided you snap it up before April 22nd, it’s yours to keep for this bargain price.
