Eerie plant puzzler Strange Horticulture is 70% off on Steam
Strange Horticulture, which sees you cultivating plants and solving cryptic clues, is a bargainous 70% off on Steam, making it just £4.04. If you’re a fan of the uncanny, or just want a puzzler that doesn’t hold your hand, it’s an absolute steal.
We awarded it an outstanding 9/10 in our Strange Horticulture review, remarking that “Something very special awaits for those curious enough to enter Strange Horticulture.” We do mean strange; the game casts you as the owner of a florist and herbalist’s shop where your customers have some unusual requests.
Sometimes they’ll just want something to help them sleep, but other times they’ll have you making elixirs, poisons and all manner of odd concoctions.
The puzzle element comes from figuring out the appropriate ingredients, and uncovering where to find them. There’s also a suitably eerie storyline, which will be right up your street if you love folk horror. You can watch the game’s trailer above.
