Reminder: Paragon enters Open Beta August 16th on PS4 & PC

Epic Games’ shiny new MOBA, Paragon, is leaving its early access stages and heading into Open Beta this week. If you missed your chance to play early, now’s your opportunity to jump into the fray without hurting your wallet.

This Tuesday August 16th, Paragon will be free-to-play for PC and PS4 players through an Open Beta. Players had several ways to access the game with paid early access and the PS4 retail exclusive Essentials Edition, but now everyone has a chance to play. A unique cast of characters balance the playing field and the early access has garnered some good reviews. MOBAs, or games that hint at it (i.e. Battleborn) have become quite the craze lately. Epic Games have decided to get in on the action, and you can try it out this Tuesday.

I had some time with the early access, due to my increased interest in MOBA’s as of late. It was great, fast-paced third person action with a great cast of characters. Each character felt different and unique and it was fun trying each one out. It looks like Paragon is shaping up to be a solid contender in the MOBA world.
