Get The Crew for free next week with Ubi30

Ubisoft’s Ubi30 – that being their 30 year anniversary celebration – continues this month with another free game on PC. Through the Ubisoft Club, members will be able to download 2014’s racer The Crew. If you haven’t already, you can still download the previous offering, Rayman Origins, right now until September 14.

As Ubisoft is giving out The Crew for free, that does mean it doesn’t come with the “Wild Run” expansion. In the same vein this is likely a tactical giveaway from Ubisoft to build anticipation and sales for November’s upcoming expansion “Calling All Units.”

Originally released back in late 2014 The Crew didn’t recieve terribly great reviews, with many criticizing the UI, glitches, microtransactions and most famously of all; the always online aspect. Our own Rich enjoyed his time with the game praising its “huge world and rewarding RPG aspects” so it’s definitely worth giving a shot. It’s free right?

From September 14 you can claim The Crew for free over at the Ubisoft website. Until then, if you haven’t already, you can get your free copy of Rayman Origins.

Ruaraidh - pronounced Roo-Ree - is a Scottish gamer with the name and games to prove it. He enjoys mostly everything, unless it involves exercise, and much prefers to run around inside a good, open-world RPG, being chased across the lands by a horde of monsters after his sweet loot. When he has made his escape, he will often return to the real world to continue playing anything with a good story - indie or otherwise.
