Gigantic Launches with Update and Launch Trailer to Boot

After some struggles along the way, Gigantic officially launches on Steam, Arc, Windows 10, and Xbox One.
Gigantic is a free-to-play third-person hero shooter that was announced in 2014 before appearing at E3 2015 where its beta was announced for August that year. Developer Motiga has had a tough time since then, but partnering with Microsoft and Perfect World Entertainment has seen Gigantic release across PC and Xbox One.
“We’re thrilled to welcome all players to the vibrant world of Gigantic,” said Chris Chung, CEO of Motiga. “The team has worked incredibly hard to develop an experience unlike any other. We hope you join us and the community of players who have fallen in love with the game and helped us throughout its development.”
With its release comes a new hero, Ramsay (not Gordon), an offensive character brandishing a lethal blade. Ramsay takes Gigantic’s hero count to 19, and Motiga have a new hero planned for release each month following the game’s launch. Along with Ramsay comes text chat, new character packs, and skins.
If you’re looking to unlock all 19 heroes in Gigantic you can purchase the Ultimate Pack for $29.99/£23.99. On top of unlocking those 19 heroes are all future heroes along with unique skins, boosts, fortune cards and premium currency. Any player who originally purchased Gigantic’s Founder’s Pack will automatically be upgraded to the Ultimate Pack.
Let’s all hope that Gigantic’s launch is… gigantic. Sorry.
