Football Manager 2018 Gets a Release Date

ByJack Bampfield

Is it too early to think formations and transfers? Of course not! Sports Interactive have announced Football Manager 2018’s release date, 10th November.

Get ready to sharpen that tactical mind and prove that you know how to manage your team better than their manager – on an unrelated note how do you out manage Mourinho? It’s rather fitting for Sports Interactive to announce Football Manager 2018’s release date after the opening weekend of the Premier League (the best league in football).

No other Football game reaches the heights of numbers and statistics that Football Manager has always thrived on. Many times you hear stories of players who’d purchased young wonder kids in Football Manager and those footballers become some of the most sought after in real world football years later.

Players who pre-purchase Football Manager 2018 and own 2017 in their Steam library will get 25% off the newer installment. On top of that 2017 is currently 80% off on Steam and can be picked up at the cheap price of £8/$10. This release date is also for Football Manager 2018 Touch and Mobile.

I wonder how much Ronaldo would set me back. With Ed Woodward as my executive vice-chairman probably £100bn.

For Jack, it all started with the PS1. After years spent playing against AI, video games moved online, so Jack did too. As the industry grew, he followed, treating himself to a diverse array of genres. Now enjoying well-written RPGs the most, he looks for stories he can engross himself in. Unfortunately, they are hard to find in video games. Eventually his love/hate relationship with gaming drew him to write about the industry he is passionate about. When he's not gaming, you'll most likely find Jack watching films.
