Four New Stadiums Coming in FIFA 18

ByJack Bampfield

As is the way for FIFA titles since FIFA 14, EA have added more recreated stadiums for FIFA 18 including Atlético Madrid’s new stadium, Wanda Metropolitano.

As part of the slow drip feed of announcements that occur this time of year for FIFA, EA has announced this years’ incoming stadiums, and includes the list of all available stadiums in FIFA 18. The Premier League’s new teams Brighton and Hove Albion, and Huddersfield Town have their stadiums, The Amex Stadium and Kirklees Stadium appearing this year – Newcastle’s St. James Park’ was already in FIFA 17, and will remain for FIFA 18.

Atletico Madrid’s new stadium (still yet to open) Wanda Metropolitano will also be coming to FIFA 18. Lastly, LA Galaxy’s stadium, Stubhub Center, will also be available.

This year EA made more changes to the atmosphere of the stadiums; FIFA 18 brings high-res crowds, club and ground specific banners, new pitch-side elements, regional chants and more. The stadium total of this year’s FIFA clocks in at 75 (50 of those fully-licensed grounds). The full list of stadiums in FIFA 18 is below.

For Jack, it all started with the PS1. After years spent playing against AI, video games moved online, so Jack did too. As the industry grew, he followed, treating himself to a diverse array of genres. Now enjoying well-written RPGs the most, he looks for stories he can engross himself in. Unfortunately, they are hard to find in video games. Eventually his love/hate relationship with gaming drew him to write about the industry he is passionate about. When he's not gaming, you'll most likely find Jack watching films.
