8. The Emperor’s New Groove

An under-appreciated classic that would be great to see fleshed out in the world of Kingdom Hearts 3. The Aztec’s mountainous terrain could give way to a whole new style of exploration and could lend itself well to having a lot more depth in each area. Characters Cuzco and Kronk both were seen to be bad and good in different lights in the film, so would fit perfectly with Kingdom Hearts‘ recurring theme of good vs. evil. The Emperor’s New Groove was much more comic than other Disney films, allowing us to take a break from the heavy narrative if we wish.

Plus, it would give Square Enix an excuse to get Patrick Warburton to offer his godly voice to the game.

7. More Final Fantasy Worlds

Did I say Final Fantasy? Of course I did; I always do and am always being groaned at for it – especially on the Official GameSpew Podcast. But who could blame me for not wanting to learn more about the history and disappearance of some the Final Fantasy world? Yes, we got back Radiant Garden but it wasn’t definite that all of the sprawling and lost Final Fantasy characters came from there.

So give me an excuse to go Midgar… or Terra… or Gaia… or Spira… or hell, anywhere in the Final Fantasy universe and I’ll gladly take it!
