Fans of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel were left clamouring for more after the cliffhanger ending. Thankfully, Nihon Falcom has been faithful to Western audiences as of late. They have provided high quality translations and consistent localization for their dialogue-heavy Legend of Heroes series. Though far from revolutionary, these games are RPG comfort food; they utilize classic RPG conventions while introducing new elements to keep things fresh. It’s only fair to assume that Trails of Cold Steel II will receive the same treatment. That being said, those who enjoyed the first Cold Steel are sure to find more of what they enjoy when Cold Steel II releases later this year for Western Audiences.
