It appears as though Ubisoft may be bringing everyone’s favourite Assassin to the new generation of consoles.
The listing of an ‘Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Collection’ on the Korean Ratings Board (brought to light by NeoGAF) has sparked rumours that an announcement could be imminent, and without a mainline Assassin’s Creed title this year, one would assume that the collection could release this fall.
Although Ubisoft are yet to officially announce such a collection, adding credence to the possibility of an Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Collection is that the Korean Ratings Board has had a history of leaking games before they are officially announced.
Fan-favourite assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze was the series protagonist within three mainline Assassin’s Creed games: Assassin’s Creed 2, Brotherhood and Revelations, making up what was to be known as the “Ezio Trilogy”.
The Assassin’s Creed Ezio Collection would mark the protagonist’s first appearance on the current generation of consoles and could release in time to mark the arrival of the Assassin’s Creed movie later this year.
