Apparently, the site’s sources have confirmed to them that the Neo will not be revealed at the Tokyo Game Show as originally thought, but it will be shown off at a proposed venue in New York.
It’s unclear at this time what venue Sony allegedly have planned for the reveal of the Neo but Gameblog’s sources state that it will be a large venue capable at holding a showcase for the new machine.
Sony have not made any official announcement regarding the pricing, sale date or any technical specs of the Neo but have confirmed that its “in development.”
It would certainly make sense for the Neo to be released this year as Microsoft has recently launched the Xbox One S and Nintendo’s NX is also reportedly going to be shown this year too. Most assume that the Neo will include hardware to boost the graphical capabilities of PS games, 4K video support, updated storage space and High Dynamic Range imaging.
