Ahead of the full game's advertised Q1 2018 release, Holobunnies: the Bittersweet Adventure developers, q-bit games, have released a tasty little amuse-bouche for would-be fans in the guise of Holobunnies: Pause Cafe.
From the titular cafe, you can launch three mini-games: local 2-player Brawler, side-scrolling auto-run action Kitcat's Adventure and the challengingly demanding Boss Rush. Unfortunately, due to some technical problems, I was unable to play the Brawler mode (though, fortunately, YouTube isn't short on videos of other people playing it so head there to see what all that fuss is about) but I gave the other two a right good going over and found, much to my delight, that they were jolly good fun!
Holobunnies: Pause Cafe is under a fiver on Steam and delivers a solid shot of platforming action, plus a new take on the endless-run genre (is that really a genre, now?!). Added to that the fact that it's pretty bloody lovely to look at (especially if you're into pixel art) and you really could do much, much worse things with your shiny new plastic money (that's an Abraham Lincoln if you're not from 'round 'ere).
