If You Wanted to Drive FFXV’s Regalia in Forza Horizon 3 Now is Your Chance

ByJack Bampfield 30 July 2017

The cross-game licencing you didn’t know you wanted until now. FFXV’s Regalia will be available in Forza Horizon 3.

This is something I’d certainly not heard was coming. Players of Forza Horizon 3 and Final Fantasy XV will be able to download the Regalia for free in Forza Horizon 3 beginning 1st August. To be eligible for the free download, you must’ve played either Forza Horizon 3 or Final Fantasy XV on Xbox One or Windows 10. The catch here is either game needs to be installed on Xbox One by 1st August as well.

To keep an eye out for your own inclusion, the code to unlock The Regalia will be sent via the Forza Horizon 3 message system or Xbox Live System Message – the latter most likely if you own FFXV but not Forza Horizon 3. So if you’re dying to drive the Regalia with more freedom you better get your hands on FH3 before Tuesday. If you want to see it driving about looking all shiny and shmexy check out the trailer.

Why do we have to stop here though? Let’s go into the world of film; why not get James Bond’s BMW 750iL from Tomorrow Never Dies so I can drive it using my phone? Let’s go crazy and get all the Bond cars in there – imagine water shortcuts for the Lotus Esprit S1 from the Spy Who Loved Me.

For Jack, it all started with the PS1. After years spent playing against AI, video games moved online, so Jack did too. As the industry grew, he followed, treating himself to a diverse array of genres. Now enjoying well-written RPGs the most, he looks for stories he can engross himself in. Unfortunately, they are hard to find in video games. Eventually his love/hate relationship with gaming drew him to write about the industry he is passionate about. When he's not gaming, you'll most likely find Jack watching films.
