Heroes of the Storm adds another Warcraft character to its already impressive roster. Move aside Varian, Garrosh is in town.
Blizzard's Heroes of the Storm team sure know how to keep busy; here I was thinking that it'd been a while since the last hero, or that there weren't that many this year, but Garrosh makes hero number 10 for 2017. Joining Zul'jin and Valeera from earlier this year as part of the Warcraft universe, Garrosh arrives at the Nexus as a tanking character under the Warrior role.
Blizzard themselves suggest that Garrosh will work well with Malfurion, Kael'thas, and Lucio. However, he will supposedly struggle against recent hero Malthael, Lunara, and Leoric. Garrosh brings the number of Warcraft heroes to 34 - streets ahead of their other franchises, but recent inclusions of Lucio, D.Va, and Genji show that Heroes of the Storm will probably continue to commit heavily to Overwatch heroes too even with only five right now.
Here's hoping that Garrosh's encounters in the Nexus end better than in World of Warcraft raid Siege of Orgrimmar.
