It’s all right I didn’t want a PSVR anyway, or sleep.
Supermassive Games’ new PSVR title, The Inpatient, will be set in the Until Dawn universe taking players back to the Blackwood Sanatorium in the 1950s. The Inpatient, releasing 22nd November, received a story trailer today following its reveal at E3 this year.
Similar to its predecessor, Until Dawn, Supermassive Games mention that The Inpatient contains a branching narrative with various endings.
Nik Bowen, one of the Game Directors at Supermassive Games said: “Over the course of the game you’ll meet a variety of interesting patients and staff, each with their own motivations and agendas. How you react to these characters and the choices you make will have profound and dramatic consequences for how the story unfolds.”
For Jack, it all started with the PS1. After years spent playing against AI, video games moved online, so Jack did too. As the industry grew, he followed, treating himself to a diverse array of genres. Now enjoying well-written RPGs the most, he looks for stories he can engross himself in. Unfortunately, they are hard to find in video games. Eventually his love/hate relationship with gaming drew him to write about the industry he is passionate about. When he's not gaming, you'll most likely find Jack watching films.
