The Flame Vent, like the Mist Raven, is one of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice‘s prosthetic tool that is easy to miss if you aren’t one to venture off the path from time to time.
To find the flame vent prosthetic attachment, along with the Loaded Axe and Mist Raven, you’ll need access to the Hirata Estate area.
To access the Hirata Estate you’ll need to have the ‘Young Lord’s Bell Charm’, which can be found by talking to the old woman in the beat-down house just before the ‘Outskirts Wall – Stairway’ Sculptor Idol.
Take that charm to the Buddha statue at the Dilapidated Temple, and you’ll be transported to the Hirata Estate! Once there, follow the main path and defeat all the enemies that stand in your way. Eventually, you’ll come across the ‘Estate Path’ Sculptor Idol.
From that location, grapple onto the tall building directly in front of that that, and look off to your right. You’ll see smoke billowing from campfire, that’s where you’re heading.
Make your way through the areas before there, and make note that you can work your way around the outskirts of those areas, avoiding conflict if you aren’t looking for trouble.
However, once you get near the campfire, be warned that there’a a lot of enemies in that space. Wolves, guards, archers. All there, and all ready to spoil your fun.
Clear them out in any way you see fit, and make your way to campfire near the end of that small encampment. In the middle of the fire, you’ll see an item glow. Reach in, grab it, and there you Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice‘s Flame Vent prosthetic.
Once acquired, time for the same ol’ prosthetic tool routine. Head back to the Dilapidated Temple, speak with The Sculptor, and install that new tool. Hop over to the pause menu, select any available slot in your Prosthetic Tool selection, and you’re all set. That’s how to find and equip the Flame Vent Prosthetic Tool in Sekiro.
