The Mist Raven Prosthetic Tool enhances your ability to dodge attacks in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and can be very useful for those with excellent reaction time.
Once again, we’re off to the Hirata Estate to locate yet another hard-to-find Prosthetic Tool. If you spoke to the looter trying to break into the temple on the Estate Path, he would’ve mentioned a small pagoda hidden at the top of a hill, which houses something special. To get there, you’ll have to find the ‘Bamboo Thicket Slope’ Sculptor Idol, which is found just after defeating that pesky spear-wielding boss at the end of the Estate Path. A short walk from that idol location, you’ll be able to grapple onto a ledge to your left. From there, you’ll spot a large bridge. Your objective lies beyond that bridge.
Jump into the water and swim past the bridge. On your right, you’ll be able to grapple onto a tree branch hanging over the water. Follow that path until you see a small cave at the very end on the right, blocked by bamboo shoots. Cut or break the bamboo shoots, and you’ll come out of that cave into an area overlooking a cliffside. Turn to your left, and you’ll find the temple, with an imposing purple-clad enemy standing atop its roof. This guy will really test your skill at this point in the game, with long combos, unblockable attacks, and an impressive amount of posture. Defeat him, or just run past him and open the door to the temple as fast as you can, and you’ll find Sekiro‘s Mist Raven upgrade sitting inside.
Rinse and repeat the same cycle of returning to the Dilapidated Temple, having the Sculptor fix the new Prosthetic Tool, and assign it to any slot you wish. I recommend practising with this tool with your training buddy at the temple, as it may take some time to adjust to for some players.
