Want to design your own dream team in Rugby 20? Here’s everything you need to know about creating a new team.
Yeah, playing as Leicester or London Wasps is pretty cool, sure. But Rugby 20 has so much more to offer than just the official teams included in the game. It allows you to create your own team from scratch, and this is how.
Firstly, you’ll want to go to the “My Squad” section of the homepage. From there, click “Customise” and you’ll be ready to begin. Rugby 20 allows you to create up to four different teams, and you can select the team you want to edit on the left of the screen (if you’ve already made a team before).
From there, a variety of options are available to you, all based on how you want to design your kit. I chose a pretty out-there orange, but you can choose any colour imaginable, and can mix and match to your heart’s desire.
Begin by editing the jersey – the main part of the kit. The top row offers a range of patters which you can decide between for the look of your kit. From there you can edit the primary, second, and third colours. Keep editing until you’re happy with the colour choice and move on.
You’ll want to continue this with all of the options available (you can even customise the ball!) until you get to the logo. On this page there’s a range of pre-made logos which you can choose from, and these can then be edited with different colours.
Typically, you’ll want all of your kit designs to be similar (unless you really want to be bold). Thankfully, Rugby 20 offers a quick and easy way to do this. After you’ve designed your jersey, press the “Apply to all” button to keep your new club colours and patterns consistent for all the items available.
Follow this advice and you’ll have your own Rugby 20 team up and running in no time, and will be ready to compete in the game’s solo mode!
