Larian Studios has revealed the very first details and official screenshots from Baldur’s Gate 3, along with its cinematic CGI intro.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is officially on the way.
We may not know exactly when (though leaks suggest late this year), but the long-awaited sequel will be coming to early access at some point in the relatively near future. From Divinity developer Larian Studios, Baldur’s Gate 3 is an epic turn-based RPG set in the Dungeons and Dragons universe, and we’ve finally got some details on the game.
Promises of unprecedented player choice, exploration, world building and more are very exciting. Follow a grand narrative across a truly dynamic and reactive world, growing closer to your characters as they develop and grow more and more powerful.
The opening cinematic shows a gruesome Mind Flayer (yes, the creature that monster from Stranger Things is named after) implanting a parasite in your character’s brain. Mysterious abailities awaken as it consumes you – will you resist and turn dakrness upon itself? Or will you embrace the corruption and become the ultimate evil?
