A new trailer just dropped for SnowRunner, sequel to the acclaimed off-roading simulator MudRunner, and it’s given us a release date to look forward to.
We rather enjoyed Spintires: MudRunner here at GameSpew. While both the original game and the enhanced American Wilds edition can be chaotic, and often feel like hard work, it’s a kind of work that we found oddly and uniquely satisfying. With a new graphics engine and improved physics simulation, the upcoming sequel SnowRunner is aiming to drive realistic off-road simulation into a new generation.
So when the truck will we be able to get our hands on SnowRunner? Well, it’ll be launching on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via the Epic Games Store on April 28th. That’s only two and a half months away!
Face an all-new open world in over 40 powerful vehicles, from brands such as Western Star, Ford, Chevrolet, and Freightliner. The new snow and ice environments add a whole new set of hazards as you carve your path through the landscape.
With a plethora of customization options, go it alone or team up with friends in the fully synchronous four player co-op mode. SnowRunner will also launch with full mod support on PC, so there will be a mountain of community-made content to ensure infinite variety.
SnowRunner is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on April 28th; and you can preorder now to recieve the exclusive Navistar 5000-MV. Check out the new release date reveal trailer below, or head over to the game’s official website for more information.
