Death Stranding is Coming to PC This Summer

Death Stranding x Half Life

505 Games is bringing Hideo Kojima’s genre-defying action game Death Stranding to PC this summer, and has also teased a crossover with Half Life.

After remaining a PlayStation 4 exclusive since its launch in November 2019, Hideo Kojima’s latest bundle of weirdness Death Stranding has been announced for a PC release on June 2nd this year. 505 Games will be working in collaboration with Kojima Productions to bring the post-apocalyptic postman simulator to Microsoft Windows, with both a digital and physical release.

Death Stranding will have a few extra features when it lands on PC as well, such as photo mode, high frame rate and ultra-wide monitor support. The new PC reveal trailer also teases a crossover with Valve’s iconic Half Life franchise, with a bizarre sequence in which Norman Reedus’s grizzled protagonist poses and pouts in front of a mirror with a headcrab on his noggin.

You can preorder the game on PC now, and doing so will grant you exclusive content including wallpapers, gold and additional cosmetic items. Special editions of the PC release can also get you goodies such as an artbook, original soundtrack and more.

Death Stranding is currently available on PlayStation 4, but will be coming to PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store and physical retailers on June 2nd. Check out the PC Release Date trailer below, or head over to the Kojima Productions website for more information.
