Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s Portable Pot Has an Amazing Alternate Use

The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s Portable Pot is pretty cool but it’s also got a fantastic alternative use, one that we’d never have thought of.

Tears of the Kingdom’s Portable Pot is a Zonai device that lets you cook on the go, without needing to find a cooking station. But Reddit user OneRunNoita has pointed out an alternate use, that it also functions as a ball and socket joint.

As spotted by Edge deputy editor Chris Schilling,  OneRunNoita posted a video of them attaching the pot to a wheel and, in turn, Ultrahanding it to a vehicle. How did they discover this? Was it a stroke of genius or were they just gluing every object to every other object?

We couldn’t tell you but what we can say is this a fantastic way of adding suspension to your vehicles. By default, if you attach a wheel to a piece of wood, or some other material, it functions as if it has a solid axle. That means you’re in for a bumpy ride when you hit uneven ground.

Did you know you can use the portable pot as a ball and socket joint?

But attaching a pot to each wheel adds give to your vehicle, leading to a smoother ride. We’re sure there are other uses but we’re absolutely trying this out the next time we dive into Tears of the Kingdom. Now, if only someone could figure out a way to add fluffy seats.
