Get the Yakuza Complete Series for an Amazing 75% Off

Kiyru Kazuma from the Yakuza series, a stern-looking man in a red and white shirt looking left.

With Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth just around the corner, there’s no better time to catch up with co-protagonist Kazuma Kiryu’s adventures. And, thanks to GOG’s Winter Sale you can get the seven game Yakuza Complete Series for 75% off on PC.

So, for just $27.99, you’ll get every PC Yakuza game, from Yakuza 0 to Yakuza 6. Sadly, Yakuza: Dead Souls never made it to PC and we’ve long lost hope of it getting Kiwami-style overhaul.

If you’ve heard about the Yakuza series but never played any of them, you’re in for a real treat. Later games in the series add in a few new playable protagonists but, for the most part, these action RPGs tell the story of sometime-Yakuza Kazuma Kiryu.

Without getting into serious spoiler territory, Kazuma Kiryu frequently tries to distance himself from his Yakuza roots. But wouldn’t you know it, he keeps on getting dragged back in. How do you sort that? By roaming around chunks of open-world city, punching bad guys, rescuing the innocent and generally being a badass.

That’s how the main stories unfold, at least. But what makes the Yakuza series really stand out is the nature of its diversions. There are side-quests to undertake, ranging from silly to serious, and you can even wander down to Club Sega and play an arcade game or two. Sure, you’ve got to deal with Kazuma’s impostor but there’s still time for a quick game of Virtua Fighter 2.

Buy Yakuza Complete Series at GOG, now just $27.99 down from $112.

If you’re a fan of action-RPGs, crime dramas or just want to smack someone in the face with a bicycle, this is a real steal. Nab every Yakuza-titled game, all seven of them, for the low low price of $27.99.

So what’s on offer here? Here’s every game included in the Yakuza Complete Series.

Prequel Yakuza was released well after Yakuza 1 and 2 came out, but it’s still the place to start. The Kiwami games are remakes of the first two Yakuza games with all sorts of extras including the wonderful Majima Everywhere mode. Kazuma’s frenemy Goro Majima will pop up in the strangest places, challening you a fight or even a bowling match.

Head over to GOG to grab this Yakuza Complete Series deal and, while you’re there, check out the rest of the titles in GOG’s Winter Sale. Play your cards right and you could be playing your way through Christmas, instead of watching more Boxing Day repeats.

Weekend Editor // Chris has been gaming since the days of the Acorn Electron, which was allegedly purchased to 'help him with his homework'. You can probably guess how well that went. He’ll tackle most genres – football titles aside – though he has a taste for games that that are post-apocalyptic, horror-oriented or thought provoking in nature.
