May’s PlayStation Plus games have been announced, and they include Ghostrunner 2

Another month means another batch of games for PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers to add to their libraries and keep as long as they remain members. And the games available this May are all rather good, too.
Football fans will be happy to hear that EA Sports FC 24 is one of the four games being made available to PlayStation Plus Essential members this May, playable on both PS5 and PS4. The first football game by EA since it opted out of paying for the FIFA licence, it’s basically FIFA 24 in all but name.
Two other games included in this month’s PlayStation Plus Essential offerings are playable on both PS4 and PS5, too: the wonderful action RPG Tunic, and the online multiplayer loot-fest that is Destiny 2: Lightfall.
We feel that the best of May’s PlayStation Plus Essential offerings, however, is the excellent Ghostrunner 2. When it was released late last year we awarded it 8/10 in our review, impressed by how ambitious it was compared to its predecessor. We would have scored it higher if it wasn’t so rough around the edges at the time, and since launch it has indeed been polished up and improved. Needless to say, now you should consider it a must-play, especially if you’re into fast-paced action games.
All of these games will be available for Playstation Plus Essential subscribers to add to their libraries from 7th May. That means that there’s still time to add last month’s games to your library if you haven’t done so, which include the brilliant Immortals of Aveum. Make sure you don’t miss it.
