The mysterious new IP from Bandai Namco, revealed a few weeks back with the tag line #PreparetoDine, has got its first full length trailer.
Code Vein, when it was teased, looked to be in the style of Bloodborne. The trailer showcases that this new IP will plot its own course, and gives some clips showing its action RPG style. Code Vein has more of an anime vibe to its animation, setting, and atmosphere but it looks slick and intense. The trailer, while short, does give a hint as to what exactly the story will be about it. We can expect more details about Code Vein as the months go by, and with E3 around the corner, maybe a full gameplay demo.
For now, we can pick apart this trailer, and drool over how awesome it looks. Its got a sweet sense of style about it, something Bloodborne had, and it shows. Hopefully Code Vein is different and inventive enough to feel like something truly original. No release date yet, but Bandai Namco says it will arrive in 2018.
