How to Succeed in FIFA 20’s Volta Dribbling Training

Fifa 20

FIFA 20’s new Volta Mode adds a lot of new abilities, but also redefines some of the more traditional skills.

Dribbling is a lot more tricky in FIFA 20’s Volta Mode, but if you follow these steps you’ll be a pro in no time!

Don’t Sprint

With the clock ticking down it may feel weird to not sprint, but you lose so much control when doing so. Volta is all about playing in tight spaces, and the slower you dribble, the more control you have. You can easily complete each dribbling practice without ever touching that sprint trigger.

Follow the Faded Arrow

In the earlier sessions you are expected to follow the path set out, and use the arrows as guidelines. But don’t just look for the arrow telling you where to go; there’s also a faded arrow on the screen showing you your next move. If you have this in mind you can angle your run to be best suited for the next obstacle too.

Don’t take risks when Shooting

It can feel very tempting to show off when there’s an empty goal. But don’t. Scoring a goal adds a lot of points (typically 1000, depending on the session) and that can be the difference between a good or bad rating. Don’t show off: tap it in and reap those rewards.
