12 More Games We Never Quite Finished

7. Star Wars: The Old Republic

Gammon: Have you ever arrived so late to the party that it wasn’t really worth your time showing up? All the food has been eaten, all the drink has been drunk and all the interesting people have buggered off somewhere new. If you have then you know my experience playing Star Wars: The Old Republic.
A game that sets you thousands of years before the Star Wars films, you and your ever-increasing party must explore the universe and choose the path of the dark or light. An expansive RPG set in the Star Wars universe, what could be better? Not much — but when you have approached the game years after release, with all the plot points spoiled for you it can seem rather stale. A shame that such a good game was wasted on me.
8. The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker

Becca:Â Back in middle school I played The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker with one of my best friends and did nothing else for days straight. If you look closely you can probably still see the remnants of popcorn grease and and sour Skittles stickiness on my controller from our Zelda all-nighters. Wind Waker was my first introduction to a Zelda game and I quickly fell in love with its adorable hero Link. I liked the challenge of the combat as well as the dungeon puzzles. And of course, the story was funny and clever.
Unfortunately, this was before I protected my games like they were my own children. My one and only copy of Wind Waker got scratched somewhere along the line and, you may not believe this, but the game crashes during the final boss fight. The very final boss fight. Three minutes from the end. I’m serious. So no, I haven’t technically ever beat Wind Waker but I’ve gotten damn close on many occasions.
