9. You may start to seek out games you can platinum
Like I said up above, you may find yourself looking for games that have easy platinums so you can add to your digital trophy case. If this is the case for you, there’s actually a brilliant article that introduced me to GameSpew about a year ago that you should definitely take a look at.
Easy platinums are a godsend for if you just want more. Just remember, the more challenging the trophy list, the more satisfying the platinum will feel.

10. Platinum trophies ensure you get value for money
Games are expensive, let’s face it. If you’re in the very familiar situation of not being able to afford many games, trophies can really help to keep you entertained. When you go for a platinum, you truly max out the value for money for that one game. Beat an entire game in a weekend? Why not go back and play it again, this time thinking about the trophies. If you’ve got a while to wait until your next game gets released, trying to platinum one you have already can be a huge time killer.
What do you think about trophy hunting? Do you eke more enjoyment out of your games by trying to achieve the platinum trophy? Or don’t you care? Let us know by commenting below!
Duncan RobertsonDuncan spawned into his first game at the age of 3. After playing Super Mario 64 he's never looked back and his dream job is to play games, share his thoughts and opinions on them and somehow call it "work." Duncan is a PlayStation gamer at heart and his favourite games of all time would have to be Dishonored and Journey. When he's not gaming or making gaming videos for his YouTube channel with his best friend, Duncan plays tennis, sings, acts and lets face it, probably plays more games.
