There has been some backlash against the book recently by people who hate fun, but that’s not going to stop me from being excited to see what Speilberg does with the source material and how he gets around the free-reign of references in Earnest Kline’s nostalgia fest.
A Quiet Place
April 6, 2018
I saw the trailer for A Quiet Place before Justice League and it blew me away. I had never even heard of it and I came away with it being one of my most anticipated films of 2018.
Giving extremely little away about the story and the characters, the trailer sets up an incredibly tense experience that looks to be one of the best horror films of the year.
Sean is a semi-retired, semi-grown up hardcore kid who has been gaming since his hands could grip an arcade stick. A lover and critic of movies, music and video games, Sean is always quick with an opinion, a heaping dose of snark, and a healthy dose of pragmatism. The hill he will die on will always be "gameplay over story".
